Baking Supplies, Baking Ingredients In Bangalore, Baking In Bangalore

I  have found it quite a task to figure out where we can find some not-so-commonly used or known ingredients in Bangalore. This is an attempt to share some information I have gathered so that it can be useful to others. Please do share any relevant information you may have.

Thanks to the information generously shared by my readers. I have updated the same here too. Your support is very much needed to grow the baking community. I am making an attempt to also link up other sites and blogs which can provide similar information for other Indian cities. If you have some information you can share or know of any site or blog which has similar information, please do guide us to it. Thank you for your contribution to the home-bakers community!

Hi, I have just got a microwave convection with grill - whirlpool 30ltrs.

I have been using borosil for all my baking, I would like to know if I can use the non-stick kind baking pans on convection mode for baking?
I've been told to NOT use aluminium pans/tray at all.
I have tried silicon moulds and it works really well however I'd like to start using the spring foam ones as I'd seen very pretty ones last weekend at home centre.. hence wanna make before purchasing it.

Thanks!

Sharon said...

Hi Suma,

At the outset allow me to complement you on a wonderfully consolidated blog. This is just my little effort of adding one additional information to your list.

There are several people who would want to pick up ready made puff pastry sheets. In Bangalore, these are available on 126 - Brigade Road at the All Saints Bakery (Ph: 08025572091).

Interested buyers must however call a day in advance and place the order. The rate they are selling this currently is at Rs. 120/- per kg.

Regards,
Sharon
